Nothing much in the aroma, but a solid head with decent lacing. Lots of citrus in the initial taste, lemon with a slight malt backing it.
Perfectly fine on the deck in this 85 degree heat, but there’s not a lot to it. Not a lot of hop character outside of the lemony goldings, and the malt isn’t strong enough to balance it. A refreshing summer beer on a hot night, but I might be a bit disappointed if I had this in the pub.

Unclear medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is sour citrus. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and vinegar - sour milk with a average duration. Infected IMO. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. Turbid yellow color with a small white rim. Slightly malty flavor with some shy fruity notes. A bit watery. Slightly soapy, light to medium mouthfeel, drinkable and refreshing but suddenly very dry finnish damages it. Not bad nor remarkable ordinary bitter. MesandSim (5972), London, Greater London, England

This was from the bottle sent by the brewer to Chris as a replacement for the seriously ropey one we had at Harry’s tasting. Sadly it still wasn’t up to much. Golden blonde with a slim white film. Extremely dusty, like stepping into a factory that has been disused for years. Engine oil and grease too. Heavy lemon provides a welcome respite but that really is all I can say. Not great. chriso (4852), London, Greater London, England

Very viscous with lumps and thread of matter suspended. Smells of vomit. I tried drinking a sip but it was impossible. I had never seen a ropey beer before but knew immediately what it was. Apparently this is caused by Pediococcus Damnosus bacteria, which secrete slime. Probably caused by sanitation issues at the bottling stage or contamination of the priming yeast. The brewer has promised a replacement bottle, so I’ll re-rate when it arrives.

RE-RATE. Replacement bottle.
Much better. Clean and golden with some citric notes. Nothing out of the ordinary but decent enough.

RE RATE 301208. Bottle. Best before September 2009.Seemed more citric than previously with a quite sharp mouthfeel. Possibly borderline infected but the sharp, slightly sour tang seemed to add a touch more character. maeib (4776), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England

A golden coloured beer which left a bit of lacing even though there was no sparkler used. The aroma had some banana notes as did the taste. There was also a little butterscotch in the taste which was otherwise clean and enjoyable. A tasty little beer.
