A truly unique beer, this stout has an edge over the others! Brewed at Lobethal Bierhaus using golden rolled oats, the finest available malted and roasted barley, carefully chosen English hops and yeast, this stout offers hints of chocolate and roasted coffee flavours with a smooth silky finish making it a winter favourite

Pours jet black with a large tan creamy head showing great persistence. Aroma shows lots of milk chocolate, roasted barley and creamy oats. Impressive. Flavours are not quite as complex, but include roasted barley, smoke, and finish with a mild bitterness. Creamy body, slightly thin in my opinion though. A very nice creamy, milky stout.

Decent tan head on a black body. Some chocolate notes in the taste but probably expecting a little more, smooth taste, coffee and grainy aroma, a touch thin but enjoyable and drinkable. Notice the oatmeal and maybe a touch of smoke.

Bottle. Pours almost black with a thin light brown head that retains a nice lace in the glass. Aroma and flavour of roasted malt, cocoa and fruity hops. Sweet mouthfeel with a creamy malt finish.

Pours jet black with a nice tan head that settles pretty quickly. Nose has alot of dry roast, coffee & dark dusty choc. Palate translates well, choc notes dominating but has good balance. Lively carbonation dres up the palate & makes it very creamy. Finishes with dry roasted malt notes lingering. Overall a very good stout, pretty robust in the choc department but still very balanced with coffee notes. As said below is quite delicate yet robust.

Bottle. Pours pretty much jet black with a large tan head that diminishes quickly to surface cover. Aroma is fairly light with notes of roasted malt, dark chocolate, vanilla and coffee beans. Flavour is more substantial than the aroma but is otherwise pretty much the same. Smooth mouthfeel, a little thin and with high carbonation but with a long, creamy, roasty finish. This is a nice stout, the chocolate element is very subtle but on the whole everything is well balanced and surprisingly delicate.
