Bottle. Aroma is of hops, malt, sweet fruit, a little banana, and a little brown sugar. Pours a caramel color, similar to Coca-Cola. Head is a light tan color, while remaining extreamely thin and disappearing rapidy. Flavor is not very hoppy at the start, with coffe / toffee notes with a slight bit of hops warming up towards the end, kind of like a pilsner. Carbonation is not too flat, but not strong, with a small bite. Repeat buy.

Attractive dark brown beer with burgundy highlights. Very light head. Inviting roasted malt aroma. Nice palate and delicious roasted taste. Very enjoyable, would like to have a pint or two more. Thanks to chinesehercules.

Aroma: malt, some chocolate and some light fruit vinous. Appearance: dark brown to red with a decent head, some suddsy lacing. Flavour: dark brown sugars some light spicy hop notes and some of the vinous complexity hinted at in the aroma. Palate: thin but easy drinking due to being lightly carbonated.

Smells of burnt grain and fruit and nuts. Is dark ruby in color with a thin tan head. The flavor is mild and clean with hints of plums and chocolate. It has an extra smooth finish. Good body to boot. Quite the session beer. Understated and elegant.
