Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel and sweet, with a touch of orange. A medium bodied Pale Ale. The malts are caramel and sweet, with some orange. The hops are grapefruity and kind of mild for a pale ale. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. fidel (1010), Livermore, California, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 2, 2006 5 ounce sample from the Fair Oaks Brewfest. Light, citric, floral aroma with some very mild hempy tones present as well. I also detect a touch of buttery diacetyl. Cereal and biscuits are also hiding in the faint aroma. Honey-colored body with an off-yellowish head. Lightly hopped piney start with mild floral notes as well. Sweet, cereal-like malt flavors follow in the middle. Mildly bitter juicy hop finish. So-so.
