Aroma has some nice peachy character, but alot a decent amount of alcohol and is on the sweet pale malt side of balance. Taste is as above sweet pale malts, slightly bitter/butteryness, hops do pritty much balance but are not overly exciting. bobinlondon (844), Harrow, Greater London, England

Rather thin tasting for abv. Predominant flavour is astringent english hops with a slightly tinny twang. Dissopointing. MesandSim (5955), London, Greater London, England
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 19, 2009 A Mes rate. Cask at Baker St. ’Sporks. Clean gold with a slight collar of white suds and a little condition. Slightly astringent floral hop aroma with a hint of vanilla. Far too much sweet bready malt in the flavour which overpowers what the hops are trying to do. Late bitterness just about balances it out but overall it’s a rather dull malty golden ale.
