Cask at GBBF 2006. An orange beer with a rim of beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel, and lesser notes of alcohol and fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, leading to a dry bitter end with notes of toffee.

Cask at The Monks’ Retreat (JDW), Reading. Golden with a white head; crisp and refreshing with a grapefruit flavour and some honey; a refreshing bitter aftertaste with more grapefruit. Excellent.

Cask (gravity dispense), Reading Beer Festival, April 2006. Attractive bright orange colour - a bit dark for a golden ale. Otherwise, its crisp, fresh and fruity, with plenty of zesty hop character. Rather more aromatic than I expected from Challenger hops. Very pleasant.

Cask Handpump at the Penny Black, Northwich (JDW) 05/06/2006 Slightly floral aroma. Golden coloured and hoppy with some banana fruit flavour. Some dryness and creaminess in a bitter lasting finish.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Reading BF. A peach/ornage coloured beer. The aroma has good hops with orange flavours. The taste is also nice orange fruit hops. A decent drink.

Cask Conditioned at Reading BF. Amber coloured. Juicy and fruity aroma. Hoppy and bitter well balanced by a good malt character. Another really good beer from the brewery.
