Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is buttery, fruity, apple - pear. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. A lovely sweet and yeasty ESB with Belgian accents. Good hoppage, slight ginger. Bitter, dry and very tasty. Initial fleshy fruit, peachy but to the extent of being perfumey / soapy. Good malty body with body followed by a bitter finish. Its ok. harrisoni (5359), Ashford, Kent, England Feb 3, 2007 Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 2007. Peachy aroma. Lasting thin white head. Really lovely fruit, white stone fruit flavour with then balanced hop finish. Lovely balanced beer between aroma, palate and finish and between hop and malt. Some juicy malt. Good pepper hop finish. Very dry. Some citrus and a bit of grapefruit.
