Commercial Description:
Cask, Special;
A tantalising aroma of citrus and flowers prepares you for a generous earthy bitterness. The rich nutty malts provide the perfect balancing act.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Pours out in a clear reddish amber colour with a rich creamy off-white head. Toasted grains, baked red apples and roasted nuts in the aroma. Medium-bodied with notes of fudge, pears and leaves. Rather bitter finish of licorice-roots, raisins and nut-shells. Charming autumn beer, this.

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Almost clear nut brown. Fruity hay aroma. Sweet, medium bodied with well rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and quite hoppy with hay and salt leading to a long resiny bitter finish

Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading. Amber with a dense cream head; aroma of toasted grain and light fruit; smooth and slightly prickly in the mouth with autumn fruit flavours and a touch of Garibaldi biscuit; refined, dry, bitter, finish. A very pleasing bitter.

Gravity Cask @ Guide Dog Beer Festival. Red brown. Slightly toasty with toffeeish loddon malts but without usual balancing hoppiness. Hoppiness doesnt quite match to the description.
