AndrewC (36), Canterbury, Kent, England Jul 3, 2008 Bottle condition. Not great to be honest. Cloying and sickly. Shame as I was looking forward to it. Garrat (1065), Suffolk, England Feb 13, 2008 Bottle.Clear gold with a large head, aroma of peach and hops, taste is prickly with summer fruit, dry. maeib (3949), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Dec 22, 2007 Bottled. A light gold coloured beer with a rocky lasting white head. Nice lemony and orangey hops on the aroma, together with a hint of soap. Some more hops in the taste, but more restrained. After pouring and checking the head, I feared for an infected BCA but it’s actually pretty pleasant. imdownthepub (4017), Banbury, Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire, England Oct 28, 2007 Bottle conditioned, 500ml, from Tesco, Banbury. Gold to brown with short lasting Head. A little bit non descript. Dry and bitter wit a flowery aroma, some hop but needs to be searched out and a little malty fruitiness, but largely disappointing with a lack of freshness. dj (369), Gloucestershire, England Oct 13, 2007 Bottle, 500ml. A pale golden colour with a huge frothy head. A floral hop and orange aroma. Taste is caramel, roasted malt, floral hops and really juicy citrus fruits. High carbonation. Very tasty, but rather too fizzy for my liking.
