Cask conditioned - handpump - Malt Shovel Northampton. A golden beer with a whitish head and lacing. The aroma is uninviting with fruit skins and melon notes. The taste is also not the best with some off fruits although there are hints of decent enough hop bitterness. Not very enjoyable.

Cask at the Gig House (JDW), Wokingham. Cloudy straw colour with a scummy white head, not an appealling sight; thin tasting with some citrus, a sharp spicy bitterness becoming gentler, and then a sweet finish with orange fruit. Not one of Loddon’s finest efforts.

Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Pale gold with white head. Light biscuity malty beer with a light spicy hop, I got a faint taste of clove and corriander, but it was just the merest hint. Nicely thirst quenching with a dryish finish. A daft name for a beer though, everyone thought it was literally not available and missed it.

Cask Conditioned at The Falcon (JDW), High Wycombe. Unfortunately served too warm and through a tigher sparkler. Golden with a white head. Golden with a tight white head. Dusty hop and fruity aroma, perhaps a touch stale. Fruity malt, sweet full body and a bitter finish. Poorly kept.
