Skyview (2851), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jun 29, 2008 On draught at the micro-brewery tavern/campground near Unity, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden blonde brew with a creamy white head that has some nice retention and excellent lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, a touch of citrus and some fruity character. Taste is light to medium bodied, light carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt, some green vegetables and a touch of pear. Finish has a natural mild bitterness with some golden grain malt aftertaste. LogJam Lager is not as hoppy as I remember from the old location but the natural bitterness is a nice attribute to this beer. TomDecapolis (2420), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 9, 2006 Thanks to hopdog. Pours a golden amber with a small big bubbles in the white head. Aroma of grain, like when you walk into a feed shop for horses. A slight sweetness. Flavor was very thin, sweet and watery. hopdog (4569), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 9, 2006 12oz bottle. Poured a medium golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas of honey, light grass, and somewhat of a graininess to it. Tastes of pretty much the same - honey, wheat. Thin, watery and weak body. heemer77 (3669), Savannah, Missouri, USA Jan 23, 2006 Poured a dark gold with a little hint of orange. The thin whte head stayed around. The aroma was light carrots along with some sweet gingerbread. The taste was oddly old caramel with some light notes of hay. There was a light mouthfeel that fit in the with the style. Very lightly hopped. A decent beer.
