Pours a mostly clear gold with a large white head. The aroma is sweet raspberries and wheat. The flavor is ridiculously sweet raspberries that reminds me more of sweet-tarts candy than anything else. Its too strong and sweet and tastes artificial even though its not. Not something I would seek out again. Cletus (5060), Connecticut, USA

Tastes of raspberries and spicy with some citrus on the finish. LilBeerDoctor (1545), East Setauket, New York, USA

Pours a dense, super cloudy light yellow (kind of disturbing actually) with a huge, thick white head. Aroma of sweet raspberry juice and wheat malt, some clove. Flavor of light raspberries with a wheaty/yeasty backbone. Besides the frightening appearance, this actually isn’t too bad.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 12, 2009 A professional hand-bottle of sorts. Aroma of wheat and bittersweet raspberries with some citrus, maybe lemon. Flavor of wheat and mildly yogurt yeastiness, some raspberries, somewhat tart on the the back end. A big bunch of yeast ended up in this bottle which lent a pretty creamy, though still light, mouthfeel to the beer. Not sure if it would be this creamy in its intended form. Either way, didn’t add much to the beer and probably didn’t affect my rating. Bottom line it’s kind of juice-like and kind of boring. notalush (2693), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 6, 2009 Growler fill from Big Z - cloudy golden beer, with a substantial, foamy head - decent retention, thick lace - raspberries hit the nose first, and add a slight tartness that compliments the aromas of wheat malt, light citrus, mild phenols - moderate carbonation, somewhat creamy in the mouth - slightly tart up front, followed by some bready/yeasty notes - raspberry is faint, but present throughout - not much else going on - a beer can be light and complex, but this is not - a semi-chalky character on the back end also makes it much less refreshing than it could be - not terrible, just boring.
