Sep 30, 2007 Pint at Pearl River Hotel, Pearl River, NY...pours copper in color, not much head to speak of...aroma was of mellow fruit, malt...flavor was light, malt, minimal hop appearance if any...thin mouth feel...very easy drink, not bad if you plan on having quite a few.

Sep 20, 2007 Bouteille de 12 oz achetée chez Shaw’s (Waterbury Center, VT). Arôme: Odeur de fleurs avec une pointe de pomme (?). Apparence: La couleur est cuivrée avec une faible densité de bulle. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de malt avec une pointe fruitée. Palette: Le corps est mince avec une texture légèrement minérale. Faible effervescence en bouche. Arrière goût légèrement fruité. (Rating #1261)

Sep 9, 2007 Well it is a crisp, kinda toasted barley tasting brew - some hop flvor, but for some reasona about half way through the bottle I started to get sick of it. Frankly I need to give it another try, but not bad...

Sep 2, 2007 Another fine Long Trail product - but may be a bit blander than the others. Nice toasted flavor to the malt but doesn’t last like say Double Bag does. Well balanced out with some hops.

Sep 2, 2007 This beer was flavorful and enjoyable, although it could have been a bit stronger. The hops were present and pleasant, but the malt flavor was a bit weak. There wasn’t too much complexity, and it came across a bit thin. However...it was not bad.

Aug 30, 2007 slightly malty aroma, a slight malt flavor with a touch of biterness, thin, almost fizzy mouthfeel. Pretty generic. Not even close to being a real Alt.
