Commercial Description:
This full bodied amber ale is modeled after the "altbiers" of Dusseldorf, Germany. Our top fermenting yeast and cold finishing temperature result in a complex, yet clean, full flavor.

This beer was flavorful and enjoyable, although it could have been a bit stronger. The hops were present and pleasant, but the malt flavor was a bit weak. There wasn’t too much complexity, and it came across a bit thin. However...it was not bad.

slightly malty aroma, a slight malt flavor with a touch of biterness, thin, almost fizzy mouthfeel. Pretty generic. Not even close to being a real Alt.

much more of a pale ale than an altbier. Slightly bitter, crispy. Light, crispy and clean

Orangy hue with off white head. Aroma has a light floral arom, with hints of light malt. Flavour is malty with hints of light bitters emerging in the background. Palate is light almost watery but crisp. Still decent thought.

Beer pours deep amber. shows notes of malt on the nose and then gives a detailed flavor of malt and light hops on the finish. Drinks very crisp and clean.

On draft in Windsor Locks, CT this came in a pint glass with no head and no lacing. Color was a rich amber. Mild nose of apple malts and mild hops. Mouthfeel clean and smooth. Flavor is malts and hops, and it has a nice light dry finish. Very drinkable and probably the best session beer I found on my east coast swing.

Very little to this beer. Poured to a reddish-yellow color, with little carbonation and a medium off-white head that lingered awhile and left okay lacing. Aroma was faint, but what was there was slightly stale grain and fruit. Flavor was more of the stale fruit and a semi-sweet hop/malt mixture. All this led to a finsih that was okay and of medium duration, although just slightly on the metallic side. This was an okay beer, but not one I will rush out to buy again anytime soon.

Bottle.

A bland and metallic-finishing alt with a bit of sour grassiness in there for "character". Entirely drinkable but also unmemorable.
