I guess thats why we keep them all in New England. Again, an overbearing fruityness wnd metalic aftertaste. This was once a pleasant brew, not sure whats going on here now. shrubber85 (2934), Wallhalben, Germany
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Feb 11, 2007 Bottle. Light cherry and yeasty malt aroma. Medium amber color with small head. Slightly sweet yeasty malt flavor with a light hops finish. Nothing bad - would have rated higher as an amber ale but as an altbier it is very mediocre. gwpom (250), Akron, New York, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 1, 2007 12 oz from variety pack. Amber color, white head that vanishes quickly. My first thought was that this is more watery than malty or hoppy. Never a good sign. Average American Ale. Nothing to write home about. JB175 (1664), Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 28, 2007 Amber color with light malty aroma. Malty taste that seemed a bit thin. So-so beer from these guys. JoeMcPhee (5010), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 28, 2007 Tap. Pale amber beer with a thin creamy head. Aroma of slightly spicy UK-style hops. A bit of metallic character and slightly cidery as well. Flavour shows a bit of light maltiness. Orange marmalade and light cherry esters. Decent, but a bit bland. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 15, 2007 This alt doesn’t have the crisp drinkability of a top notch alt but it’s in the ballpark and is certainly good. This is a solid brewery. Nihon (240), Vernon, Connecticut, USA
