Commercial Description:
This full bodied amber ale is modeled after the "altbiers" of Dusseldorf, Germany. Our top fermenting yeast and cold finishing temperature result in a complex, yet clean, full flavor.

Bottle/Draft. Amber with a white head. Very drinkable in large amounts. Not a lot of flavor for an ale, but over all its not too bad.

On tap. Amber pour with a white head. Very nice lace rings. Served do damn cold I had to wait a good 20 minutes before it was drinkable. Lightly toasty caramel nose, a touch of citrus. Medium body. Malty flavor, a bit bitter for the style. Not bad.

Nice amber ale. Not very sweet and had some hoppy bitterness to it, but it was nice and creamy from the tap. Was better than all of the Otter Creeks I had in VT.

12oz bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a small off white head. Nose is lightly sweet malt with some caramel notes and a bit of toast. Palate is thin and fizzy. Has flavors of light toasted malt and some sugary sweetness.

Clear coppery amber, creamy off white head. Subtle nose of toasted caramel, marshmallow, cereal, and veryfaint chocolate and citrus. Flavor has a nice hop tone up front that blends well with a soft toasted toffee brittle note. Slightly grainy throughout too. Medium bodied, medium carbonatkion, semi-bittersweet, toasty finish. A decent session brew....

Clear, light red. Clingy off white head. Nothin’ but malt in the nose. Bitter taste, caramel, a touch a chocolate. Some fruit esters. Pretty good, I guess I had my hopes built up for the great American alt.
