Commercial Description:
This full bodied amber ale is modeled after the "altbiers" of Dusseldorf, Germany. Our top fermenting yeast and cold finishing temperature result in a complex, yet clean, full flavor.

Clear, light red. Clingy off white head. Nothin’ but malt in the nose. Bitter taste, caramel, a touch a chocolate. Some fruit esters. Pretty good, I guess I had my hopes built up for the great American alt.

Bottle. pours deep copper with a small white head. Aroma of sweet malts, citrus, slight fruit. Flavor is sweet, citrus with a slight hoppy presence. Good body average brew.

This is my standby. Not too expensive, easy to find, and drinkable year round. Nothing to write home about but i still love it.

Pours bubbly and quickly settles to a clear, moderately carbonated headless beer. Color is light and not as amber as I expected, aroma smells skunky, but noble hops are evident.

Aroma is sweet and almost fruity; malt with some hoppage. Flavor is initially sweet with some citrus ending up almost like sweet/sour apricot with bitterness and little malt. Really lacks full bodied feel but is decent overall.

This ale pours a light amber color with a frothy, small head. There is virtually no residue on the glass. The body is clear with minimal bubbles. Not an overpowering aroma, but there are hints of flowery hops, as well as some peach. Taste is lightly acidic and lightly bitter, finishing just lightly bitter. Light mouthfeel with a watery texture and lively carbonation. A somewhat chalky feel on the finish.

Coppery gold color with little head. Sweet caramel malt aroma. Decent flavor of hearty breadiness, though it is really thin as is the malty sweetness. Extremely muted flavors. Fairly highly carbonated and medium body. Not a great beer.

12z bottle. Ruby and clear with a clinging white head. Slight bready nose. Caramel and fruit. Short lived malty sweetness, taken over by a sticky, piney hop bitterness, then left with a lively zesty finish.
