Commercial Description:
This full bodied amber ale is modeled after the "altbiers" of Dusseldorf, Germany. Our top fermenting yeast and cold finishing temperature result in a complex, yet clean, full flavor.

A nice golden color with no head. Sweet floral aroma with a hint of honey. Taste offers some hoppiness with a little spice as well. Settles toward the front of the palate. A crisp clean mild beer, a good starter for those new to craft brewed beers.

Bottle: pours copper with a small, thin white head. Light malt aroma and not much else. Flavor is lightly malty but fairly dry. Kind of a small meat thing going on with a touch of soy sauce. Average at best.

A big frothy head that quickly vanishes. It pours a nice amber color. A sweet floral aroma. A nice hoppy flavor in the front but turns metallic in the end. A good beer to have every now and again.

clear caramel coloring with a huge rocky head, weak aroma I can kind of smell something malty but even that’s pushin’ the envelope, what the hell does that saying mean anyway?, wierd, very dry hop flavor, which is good, barley malt, finishes like a fat kid at a track meet.

Geez, Long Trail hopped the daylights out of this beer! The hops hit you up front, and hard. In the aftertaste, you get more of a metallic flavor. Available in NYC as of 2/05. Not much malt, frankly, and I can’t say I enjoyed it a whole lot. Quite floral.

Very good beer, nice balance of malt and hops and very smooth. Unfortunately now that I am not longer in Vermont I can’t get this beer.

Frothy head that quickly dissapates. Amber color. Sweet flavour with fruity, raspberry notes. Quite nice and refreshing. Cheers!

Bottle. Amber/golden color. Good balance of hops and malt. Nothing special.
