| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 16, 2009 On tap at the Matunuck Oyster Bar - South Kingstown, RI. Slightly herbal, crisp hoppy nose, with some malt edging in. Pours a very clear plain copper, with minimal head. Flavor is a lightly sweet, clean, fresh somewhat-caramelized malt with a medium edge of hops. A bit thin and slightly metallic, but nothing detracting. A very plain, easy-drinking fresh ale. If one thinks of generic "ale" this would be a good place to go, as it fits that bill pretty well. Not unremarkable, just solid and drinkable. chriso (4796), London, Greater London, England

Thin off-white head. Soft malt aroma. More on the palate. Some tangy hop. A touch of bubblegum. Smooth mouthfeel. Fairly dry finish. Well-tempered but unremarkable.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 8, 2009 Realized I hadn’t rated this so stuck it in a mixed six pack. Amber pour aroma is light malt sweetness with a bit of flowery hops. Mouthfeel is light and a bit crisp. Flavor is malty, a bit grainy and grassy in the middle and some slight bitterness on the finish. Overall ok, once again from long trail nothing overly impressive, but nothing bad.
