Commercial Description:
Our Belgian White Ale is modeled after the original Belgian Witbiers brewed in monasteries during the early 14th century. The soft notes of citrus and spice are topped with a light fluffy head that finishes clean and crisp. This all natural ale is our latest seasonal brew, perfect for lounging at lake-side or celebrating at trails end...

(Draught) Pours a cloudy pale yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, mustiness, coriander, and rotten citrus. Flavor of wheat, lemon zest, light white pepper, and coriander with a watery mouthfeel.

12oz bottle thanks to secret Santa 2008. Golden straw color with just a light haze and light head. Light wheat, wet grain and straw in the aroma with a bit of sweetness for good measure. Very light flavor. Wet grain, and a touch of Belgian yeast (though those flavor are very subdued). Hints of spice (clove). Very inoffensive but nothing really stands out. Wet mouth feel lite-med body. While nothing to write home about, the description on the label is fairly accurate, seems like a good lawnmower brew.

Bottle. Pours pale yellow, very hazy, with a medium white head and fairly quick dispersion. Aroma is orange peel, coriander, cereal. Flavor is similar, with a bit of peppery spice. Lacking in yeasty aroma and flavor, but otherwise, a nice beer.

Bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is a bit of citrus, clean wheat, maybe a hint of spicy yeast. Taste is big on clean sweet wheat, spicy yeast is understated, citrus plays a bigger role in the taste and finish. Taste is just a bit off from what a Wit should be. All the elements are there, but not quite situated the way they need to be.
