Hazy, unfiltered, almost totally opaque pale gold with a moderate but quick-receding snowy-smooth fine-bubbled head that leaves no trace in the glass....aroma is mostly bready, very lightly spicy (carroway, orangepeel, coriander), a bit musty, with citrus notes growing more prominent....body is quite strongly carbonated, qutie dry, relatively full, rather bready/yeasty throughout, lightly peppery-spicy to finish, faintly mineralic and bitter....not an amazing example of the style, but reasonably authentic and refreshingly dry and tart; seems to border on saison territory at moments. One of LT’s better offerings for sure. jcwattsrugger (4272), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Jun 8, 2008 @ Uno’s-12oz bottle-pours a dissipating white head and verry hazy pale yellow color. Aroma is musty wheat, secondary spice, yeast. Taste is musty wheat, tart-lemon, secondary spice, yeast. A slightly spiced lawnmower beer. OK effervescence. bu11zeye (4066), Frisco, Texas, USA Aug 25, 2008 (Draught) Pours a cloudy pale yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, mustiness, coriander, and rotten citrus. Flavor of wheat, lemon zest, light white pepper, and coriander with a watery mouthfeel. JoeMcPhee (4061), Jackson Heights, New York, USA May 31, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pale yellow. Very cloudy and yeasty. Aroma is all coriander. Light lemon and a bit of wheaty flavour, but it is quickly clobbered by all the coriander. Fairly sweet which just gives an overall appearance of being too damn lemony. Gets quite vegetal as it warms up.
