Commercial Description:
Our Belgian White Ale is modeled after the original Belgian Witbiers brewed in monasteries during the early 14th century. The soft notes of citrus and spice are topped with a light fluffy head that finishes clean and crisp. This all natural ale is our latest seasonal brew, perfect for lounging at lake-side or celebrating at trails end...

20080626 12oz bottle - it was on the singles rack at RB Spirits. Glowing pale yellow color with small but lasting white head. Aroma is a big kick of lemon, tangerine, dish soap (no, not my dish soap), and tropical notes (coconut, papaya, cocoa butter). Unusual and interesting but also quite artificial in presentation. Flavor carries a good deal of the citrus and tropical notes, with a lingering perfumed finish (crazy with coriander). Not much eff, not at all bitter or dry, this is a sweetish, flavorful, refreshing, odd concoction that I will be glad to have finished. Oh well.

12 oz bottle from Thaichile. 051408 stamped on the neck of the bottle. Pour is a hazed, cloudy pale yellow with a bright white one inch head. Head falls fast with no lacing. Aroma of bright fresh lemon citrus, wheat and some floral spiciness. Taste is soft and sugary lemons. The floral is present, and is quite perfumy in the aftertaste. There is some bitter hoppiness near the clean and brief finish. This was mostly about the lemons. Overall, nice drinkable Wit. Thanks Mark!

Sampled at brewery. Pours a hazy yellow with a thin white head. Aroma of lemon, citrus, light wheat, and some spice notes. Flavor was smooth with citrus, coriander, lemon, yeast, and spices. Light bodied with a crisp and clean finish.
