Commercial Description:
Light, crisp and refreshing, Blackbeary Wheat is modeled after the spontaneously fermented "Lambics" of Belgium. Real blackberries added to the fermentation contribute a subtle fruitiness to this Summer Quencher! Available May through August.

On tap at Paddy McGuire’s (NYC): Quite simply, not a fan. The "blackberry" taste is just too watered down and consequently the liquid bread taste is overwhelming. Fizzy, which will always mean NOT GOOD.

Not good.... this tastes like a blackberry seltzer, honestly. It pours clear golden into the glass, with not much of a head beyond the nitrous-induced carbonation. The nose is of muddy berry citrus and old hair salon perm solution. The flavors are really not there, albeit a hint of lemon citrus. The finish is like the body, dull, devoid of substance... and seltzery. This really feels like a diet blackberry seltzer.

Quite possibly the worst beer I’ve ever had. Pours like Dial soap cut twelve times-- it’s watery with next to no head or lacing. Flavor is formaldehyde and something phony that might approximate black berries if you drank enough of these-- something I do not recommend......

I’m not a huge fan of fruity beers, but this one is good. Light and refreshing, smells of blueberries mostly. This blueberry taste is not too overwhelming, the wheat comes through. Pretty simply overall. Nice on a warm day.

From a 12 oz bottle brought back from Vermont by Brian on his recent trip home this one pours a golden color with a very thin head and lots of carbonation. Weak aroma of fruit and wheat. Watery taste of blackberry and grains - kind of a fake taste to it.

Bottle thanks to mar. Yellow gold in color with a decent sized white head. Aroma is of blackberr, wheat, and funfetti cupcakes. Taste is of wheat and blackberry...go figure.

Bottle thanks to mar. The smell is pissy, wheat, malts, and fruit. The look is golden in color with an off white head. The taste is fruits and clean, but boring and light.
