Oct 27, 2008 Brewed in the USA !! (KSBF) Pours a pale yellow color with a med white head. There is a musty berry aroma to this fruit beer. The taste is of blackberries but very very faint. The mouthfeel is thin and not very exciting.

Oct 18, 2008 Bottle. Pours a very light straw color with a fine white head. Lots of berries on the nose and a little yeast. Starts off sweet, but not cloyingly sweet as some fruit beers are wont to do and the fine carbonation is nice as well and helps the fact that apart from the fruit, I am very much reminded of drinking cheap keg beer at parties in college. Finish is very laid back with just a hint more fruit coming through, but overall still lacking.

Oct 12, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow w/ a small white head. Faint aromas of berry and grains. Palate is thin with a moderate amount of carbonation. Taste is faintly of berry ( might be blackberry, to faint to tell ) and grains. Could be an ok summertime lawnmower beer.

Sep 22, 2008 Updated: Oct 22, 2009This has a nice, pale golden hue, looking extremely light-bodied, and has a well-formed, large white head. (I was expecting something a little more fruity looking...)
The aroma unfortunately smells like a pale lager, with light malt, no hops, and the softest hint of sweet, sticky blackberries. The first taste that hits the tongue is a melange of dark fruit- though VERY mellow and discreet, and after that.... nothing. The finish is rather watery thin, and this comes off tasting like an Anheuser-Busch creation- think Blackberry Bud. Overall, this is an obvious disappointment and an unfortunate miss for a brewery that otherwise makes some very fine German-style ales and lagers.

Sep 16, 2008 Very disappointing. Little to no head on a clear yellow body. Thin and carbonated mouthfeel. It tastes like they just mixed some blackberry juice into a macro lager. No semblance of hops or wheat anywhere. I had a tough time finishing this.

Sep 14, 2008 12 oz. bottle from Premier Gourmet - Pours a clear light golden color with a medium size white head. Nice lacing. Has a light berry aroma and flavor. Light to medium body. Has a lingering oxidized finish. Nothing special here.
