| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | May 17, 2006 12 oz bottle. Extremely pale golden colour, thin fast-fading white head. Sweet candyish aroma, blackberry/blueberry with a bit of lemony citrus. Reminds of blueberry Kool-Aid which isn’t really a good thing. Thin-bodied, very dry and bland. Flavoured water more than beer. This is to lambic as an Ikea desk is to a tree. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 3, 2002 Updated: May 2, 2006Solid, but not spectacular or even really memorable. Could use more of its namesake flavor, if you ask me. Aroma kind of nasty out of the bottle; let it sit for 5 minutes. Also a bit bitter on the palate to start, but this should smooth out after a few moutfuls. 8/6 revision: I was a bit too kind to this beer on first shot; really rather bland and palate just above that of PBR or Michelob. 7/4/02 revision. Bad mood punishing myself by drinking crappy fruit beers. Uggh. Nose indeed gets better as it warms; but do you want to taste it warm? Not horrible if drunk moderately cold, but like most of this brewer’s beers avoidable unless you (like me) must try all of your home-states libations. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 9/20 | Aug 4, 2004 Swet, simple blackberry aroma is appealing. Pale golden body with thin white head that diminishes to thin cover. Good carbonation. Mild blackberry fruit flavour in a pretty middle of the road american wheat beer. Mouthfeel is rather watery and that detracts from overall enjoyment more and more with each sip. I don’t really see how this is modelled after a Lambic. Bottle.
