Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours a motor oil black with tan head. Aroma of nice strong dark roasted grain and coffee. Flavor of some nice coffee and dark roast. Mouthfeel is heavy body with low-medium carbonation. Overall, good stuff!

From the bomber pours a pitch black body with a fading, frothy, chocolate milk colored head. Pathcy ribbons of sheer, sticky lacing cling hard to the glass. The nose is heavy on dark, roasty espresso beans, with underlying bittersweet chocolate and hints of lactic cream. Flavors mirror the aroma, very chocolaty and roasty, with a strong coffee infusion, formidable earthen hops, and traces of light cream. Slightly heftier than medium bodied and somewhat syrupy, the carbonation is perhaps a shade overly active, and the finish is lightly acrid. Overall, a pretty tasty brew, but far from elite.

22 oz bomber. Dark brown, opaque black pour with a tiny tan head. Aroma of coffee beans, chocolate and faint yeast. Tastes like a cup of joe, faint alcohol present with a nice slighly burnt finish.

Pours onyx with 1-finger brown head and wonderful lacing. Nose is heavy coffee, like the French roast smell coming out of Wawa every morning. Also in the nose are dark malt, molasses, dark chocolate, and a tad of Ovaltine. Tastes dark malty, with a heavy coffee flavor, dark choc in the middle, and a rich, creamy, complex flavor throughout. The palate is on the hefty side, and this one surprised me a lot. Without a doubt the best beer this brewer has ever made.

Pours a nice dark black with a creamy head. I loved this one had nice coffee overtures with hints of chocolate and vanilla. At under $4 a 22 once bottle this is one the best buys out there.
