Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of bu11zeye. Pours an opaque black with a light brown head. Distinct coffee and vanilla in the nose. Solid body, a little low in carbonation with ashy coffee accents. Hard roasted malts and vanilla. Some malt bitterness. Very decent. 231109

Bottle shared by Shawn: Basically opaque with a big creamy tan head and left very good lace upon the glass. The aroma has notes of coffee and cream, toasted and slightly charred malts, herbal hops, walnut, prune, and even a dash of cinnamon. The taste is just what you expect, big coffee and sweet dark malt profile with some supporting dark fruits, walnut, and light spicy and herbal tones. The mouth feel is soft, dry and a tad chalky. Good brew and recommended to those whom are fans of coffee stouts.

Bomber courtesy of daknole. Pours midnight black with a dense 2 finger dark tan head that results in decent lacing. The nose is burnt malt, light chocolate and slightly sour coffee grounds. The taste is ashy cocoa, some light dark fruits, French roast coffee and dark chocolate. Medium mouthfeel. Nice stout. Thanks Dak!

Bomber, bottled on 1/19/09. Poured very deep, rich brown with a short, but well-retained cap of not-quite-as-dark brown head. The aroma picked up sweeter chocolates and building, moderate-roast coffee accented by a little coffee hull and oak tartness and some vanilla.. tangy and warm, especially on the back.. well-balanced. The flavor had semi-sweet roasted coffee at the core with sour overtones (some woody notes like the nose, but a little vinegary character too).. chocolate, more coffee, and vanilla rolled off the back onto a long finish.. warm, but not hot. Medium-bodied with quite a bit of carbonation on the palate.. the malty base felt good, but the sourness (although not that strong) was misplaced. Very solid overall.
