Aroma is surprisingly restrained, dry dark roast and notes of both malt and coffee. (6+) Flavour is similarly dry, moderate roast throughout, sweet malt base. Bitterness of the roast, and coffee balances things. Coffee grows as the glass goes on as it warms up. (6+) Average plus palate. (3+) Bottle from Premier Gourmet, Buffalo.
