Bomber. Pours a very light golden - light copper - initially very clear, towards the final pours gets cloudy from the massive yeast sediment on the bottom! Aroma is citrus, pine sap, needles, mango and slight alcohol and solvent. Flavor is peachy, mango, slight apple, citrus, grapefruit and pine with more solvent and a thinning alcohol. Good tacky bitterness- real clean and a bit of alcohol showing through since it is fairly thin- very low malt overall which is nice. Good DIPA.

Bomber- Pours a golden amber in color with a foamy whitish head that hung around and produced some nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is medium of both citrus and pine hops as well has a hint of some maltiness underneath. Flavor is a nicely balanced mix of citrus/pine hops and caramel malts. Nice thick palate. Finish is hoppy and lingering. Mild sweetness within the finish. A very good effort from this brewer... I’ll find this one again!

(22 oz. bottle from Bootleggers) Pours quite cloudy goldish amber with about a finger and a half of off-white head that is fairly sturdy. Strong aroma of citrus and pine with some caramel underneath. Mouthfeel is fairly smooth but lightly pebbly with some stickiness in the finish. Very nice, sturdy patterns of lacing inside the snifter. Flavor of strong pine and citrus over caramel. Pretty nicely balanced, not out of control. Slightly sharp on the hops but not too bad. There is a sweaty quality which detracted a bit. ABV seems well-hidden. Pretty good big IPA.

Hey, that’s a nice-looking beer! - hazy glowing orange, with a thick, soapy, lasting head - resinous hop aroma, herbs, a light minty character, orange and lime - low carbonation, full in the mouth - strong hop bitterness on either end - semi-sweet honey and citrus fruits through the middle - some pineapple, mango, kaffir lime leaves - lingering grapefruit and earthy hop goodness - another great beer in this series.

[2126-20090502] 1pt6floz bottle. Sweet hops and mild citrus aroma with mild oil paints. Slightly hazy, light orange brown body with a long-lasting foamy off-white head and some lacing. Sweet hoppy grass and mild navel orange citrus flavour. Medium-full body. Nice and hoppy.

Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry, Garthicus, Blankboy, and GregClow, courtesy of Harry (and his 100th DIPA rating!). Medium yellow, medium white head. Great juicy fruity aroma. Great taste! Very hoppy, grapefruit pith linger. A very nice DIPA without much alcohol to comment on.

Bottle sent from 46er3428. Thanks! This stuff has a very nice hoppy aroma. lots of grapefruit and some floral notes. A touch of sweetness underneath. Also some pineapple. Hazy light golden, good bubbly head and great lace lines in my Camel Cigarettes Pint Glass. Pineapple, grapefruit, floral hops, some sweetness, very fruity, not overly sweet. Some pineapple and grapefruit rinds in the finish. Light resins, not dry, but fruity and very drinkable.
