Style; glass: Double IPA; Snifter 22 fl oz x 8.6% ABV = 189.2 / 60 = 3.15 beers * 150 C = 472.5 calories (est.) Purchased at: Super Saver Pennington, NJ for $3.49 Aroma: nice aroma, pine, citrus, spicy. Visuals: Simple, elegant packaging, warehouse on fire, deep orange body, brilliantly clear, thick, sticky white head, long lasting lace. Taste: very well balanced, sweet, then quickly bitter. Beautiful, classic double IPA. Palate: medium to full bodied, long bitter finish. Overall: Amazing. I’d have it again in a heartbeat. A favorite.

Light copper pour with a small beige head. Strong resinous aroma, with pine, and sweet grapefruit. Grapefruit sweetness dominates the flavor upfront, with lots of earthy pine following into a bitter, resinous finish. Palate is bitter-sweet and sticky, with a bit of alcohol. A little bit too sweet for my taste, but a pretty solid effort none the less.

(Rating #2401)

Bottle. Pours a honey golden body with a white head. Huge sweet grapefruit and pure hop resins, a lighter pine quality and some citrus and alcohol. Viscous grapefruit and pine with a significant amount of alcohol to balance. This is well done, and a steel for the price, i could see some people not enjoying the large alcohol presence but its making my night right now.

Thick white head that leaves extensive lace after each sip. Really quite impressive. The liquid is cloudy with a yellow-gold color. Lots of grapefruit hop aroma. I can detect some alcohol in the nose as well. Strong bitterness (as expected) with notable alcohol oils. The malt is muted. Good richness with appropriate carbonation. Beware, this is an extremely easy IPA to drink.

Bottle: Thanks JoeMcPhee! Hazy orange pour with a dense white film of head. Juicy fruity American hop aroma some amarillo-like character peachy notes & mild plasticy phenols. Average mouthfeel- a bit sweet for my liking. Lots of honey- under attenuated with sweet candied hop notes. Herbal chamomile notes and some vegetal character. More residual honey and artificial sweetener notes. Under attenuated.

Bottle. Pours gold with a large off white head. Nice hoppy aroma with floral and citrus notes. The flavor is hop dominated as expected, with floral and citrus notes, fruity sweetness and some sweet malts. Very good and very drinkable.

22oz bottle from RCL methinks.... pours a medium orange brown with a thin white head....aroma of sweet tropical fruit hop sensation.... flavors of sweet citrus and tropical fruit hop with a decent degree of bitterness through the middle and the finish. pretty drinkable and a quality dipa at such a great value..
