Sep 5, 2009 Bottle: Deep orange colour, good white head. Pine-ish hop nose with strong, sour fruits. Flavour is mostly malts and a tangerine-ish sour citrus, well balanced with those piney hops. Not the best IPA I’ve had but it held up against some of the better ones tonight.

Sep 3, 2009 I gotta say. this isn’t the best IPA I’ve ever had, but it’s pretty damn solid. For an IIPA it should have more body to the taste, however, given the price of this beer it is totally worth it, great value, and not that bad of a beer at all. go for it, It’s a great buy if you need to pack a few bombers to pre game

Aug 30, 2009 Ahhh, a beatiful vermont beer on a beautful summer day!!! This is a nice brew here, with an astounding pack of hops that will slap you right in the face!! You cant go wrong here people, you just cant. Enjoy it. I wish the color resembled an phat IPA more though, it kind looked like a Weiss or something of the sort.

Aug 30, 2009 Poured an amber color with quarter inch of foamy white head. Aroma of hops and soap suds. Flavor was citrus hops, peach, sweet malt, and a dry bitter hop finish. Medium bodied and well balanced. Really had a nice complex of flavor all through the beer and a great finish. Great double from Long Trail!

Aug 22, 2009 On tap at the good ’ole Sharp Edge Emporium, 07.18.09. Hazy orange gold, off white head. Aroma is hoppy kiwi and tangerine, tangy, some floral. Flavor is hoppy, fruity, floral, crisp, and has a nice bitter finish. Not too syrupy or peaty. Thumbs up.

Aug 21, 2009 Bottle. Pours a deliciously hazy golden brown. Off-white head. Very nice lacing. Strong scent, smells like wine/fruit. Interesting flavor - I was expecting a much more bitter finish that never really came. More malt than you usually can taste in a DIPA, I’d think. Lemon notes too. Definitely do not taste the 8.6% ABV. Pretty good DIPA overall, will definitely drink again.

Aug 21, 2009 #1600!!! Pours a medium orange yellow. Small white head. Winey, grapefruity nose & aroma. Tangy grapefruit, tangerine citrus hops. Sweet flavor. Strong acidity twang. Decent. Sort of diasappointed

Aug 17, 2009 A very good doube IPA. Rich and robust with plenty of assertive hops and balanced malt. Very citrusy hops. Looks very beautiful in the glass, with a very nice white fluffy head. Well done.
