Jul 6, 2009 Bomber. Nice amber color with a surprisingly persistent white head. Nice pine and citrus aroma, very standard IPA fare. Hops, pine and floral start followed by a nice sweet finish, malty. Nice medium strong palate. The best double IPA for the money, $3.99 for a bottle in northern NJ, nice.

Jul 6, 2009 Nearly the perfect beer for lovers of IPA and its only $3.99 for a large format/bomber bottle. Smooth yet a complicated palate. Great after taste. My favorite beer as far as bang for your buck.

Jul 4, 2009 Very nice malty aroma with some citrus. Pours a cloudy yellow with lots of tiny bubbles. Flavor is pine, citrus with sweet malt in the background. Crisp clean finish. Very tasty.

Jun 29, 2009 Enjoyed on tap in a pub glass. The beer pours a straw to medium gold, with a white head. The nose gives hints of piney and citrusy hops (perhaps Chinook and Centennial). The hops dominate the palate, greeting the drinker up front, and lingering toward the middle to the finish. I had a difficult time distinguishing any sort of real malt backbone, which was really the only real negative aspect of this beer. Overall, it is well-made, and a nice interpretation of double IPA.

Jun 27, 2009 Awesome bottle and recommendation from Zathrus13. Thanks jEff. pours a couldy orange dirt amber. kind of odd. Some nice lace. Nice big floral hop aroma. Extremely smooth and accessible to the non beer drinker. Seemed really fresh. I would recommend this to anyone.

Jun 27, 2009 22 oz bottle, pours a slightly hazy orange/amber color with a 1" white foam head. Head recedes leaving a good amount of lace. Aroma is floral/citrus hops with a hint of malt. Palate is moderate in body with enough carbonation to be interesting. Flavor is strong pine/citrus hops with a touch of malt. Just enough for some balance really. Lingering bitter finish.

Jun 25, 2009 Poured a hazy light gold color with a small off-white head. Light orange citrus, a touch of grass and caramel malt make up the aroma. Mix of citrus and floral with almost a spice to the finish. Mild to moderate long bitter finish. Light-medium bodied.

Jun 25, 2009 Bomber. Yeah. This is THE IPA. Slight aroma, cloudy copper appearance. The flavor is strong and hoppy but smooth and balanced... not harsh and metallic like some IPA s. The taste lasts pleasantly on the palate. Overall at a 3.50 price this is a steady on my list. A must try for the lucky few in the Northeast that can get it.
