| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 26, 2009 Enjoyed from a 12oz bottle. Pours a deep brown color. Nose is of Munich and other German character malts. This beer is full on the palate, tasting of the aforementioned malts, with a long, sweet finish that is malty without being cloying. Overall, a well done strong alt. BroSpud (605), , Massachusetts, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 14, 2009 I don’t even get it. The bar next to CBC says it’s a double IPA, which I knew immediately was a shameful description. Amateur nose, rosey ASA body with no lasting finish. Sparky27 (1596), Phoenix, Arizona, USA

Medium mouth feel. Good beer. Thanks Brian! PolishHammer (64), , Connecticut, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 27, 2009 Not overly complicated, but nice. Alcohol very well hidden. Not much of an aroma at all. A bit buttery and nutty flavor, with a definite german lager taste at the back of the throat...NOT a hoppy back-of-the-tongue bitternes at all. It actually cut through the vinegar in the saurkraut I was eating pretty well.
