Just when I wanted to relax on a crisp fall night, I chose the harvest as my partner and was dissapointed. Vey bland taste sip after sip, i was expecting a rush of flavors that never came though. it was like drinking an extra dry and extra extra light knock off version of a true octoberfest beer. well, i finished a 6er regardless. cheers

Pours a transparent dark copper/amber color with a forthy light tan head. Nose is sweet, caramel buttery malts. Kind of faint. Hints of bananas and yeast in there too. Start is mildly sweet with a bit of graininess. Hints of caramel in the start. Very toasty and roasty in the middle. Finish is slightly watery. This is ok, but the toastiness followed by the watery body to finish really kind of make this unpleasant.

Clear copper body topped by small beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, toasted caramel. Taste is mild sweet, some caramel but it's dominated by solid earthy bitterness. Creamy medium body.

Toasted malt nose and tastes. Mazbe some woody and nutty notes in the middle. Clear brown color and a tall head. Nice balance, though a little rustic. Very good.

Ahh = what nice memories came back with this beer. We had it at the brewery a couple of years ago while visiting a friend in Indian Summer. We sat outside and the nature was incredable. Nice amber with a little head. Caramel malt nose and taste.

Crystal clear light medium copper w/ a lasting light beige head of mixed bubble size head of foam. Faintly sweet malt aroma with hints of diacetyl. This seems to be a recurring theme with this brewery. Third one I've had so far and they've all had it. At least it's been fairly subdued! There also seems to be a little bready aroma. Other than that, all aromas are fairly faint to the point of non existance, although the diacetyl gets a little stronger as it warms. Sweet malt flavor with a little acidic bite; fairly well balanced. Not much to the flavor profile...hints of caramel, some diacetyl in the flavor, and finishes a little dry and lightly bitter with a light fruitiness. There is a miniumum of hop flavor in the aftertaste. It's fairly light bodied, almost watery and has a dry mouthfeel. I wasn't terribly impressed by this one, it lacks a lot of character all the way around.

tastes like a marzen, reasonably complex maltiness and just a tinge of hops rearing their cones. Dark gold small head. I liked their DoubleBag quite a bit more

Double Bag should be their flagship because this one dosn't hold water. Light ruddy red color with a weak rapidly dissapating head. Aroma was weal and watery with nothing of notation. Very bland beer.
