| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Aug 17, 2009 Long Trail Harvest Ale is a clear brown ale with a dense off-white head that has excellent retention and lacing. It has a slightly sweet aroma with notes of caramel and chocolate. It’s medium bodied, very smooth and slightly flat. The finish is quite clean. The flavor is simple and mellow and well balanced. The malt tastes like caramel and chocolate and the bitterness is grassy. It’s so simple and very drinkable.

Pours light brown with slight offwhite head. Aroma and flavor both watery and sweet with slight nuttiness. Very bland beer. Gabler (86), , New York, USA
