On tap KSBF 08- Clear light amber pour, thin head. A rather odd sweetness on the nose. Pallet is thin and has a spicy light hops texture. The aroma can be a turnoff. Meh, take it or leave it- I’ll leave it.

I liked this. Copper color-clear with no head. Slight aroma of caramel and malts. Flavor of toasted malts with a caramel ending. Overall, enjoyable!

Bottle. Not enjoying this. Amber brown pour with quickly diminishing light white head. Nutty aroma flavor is a bit of malt and nutty. Boring and unenjoyable. 2.7 Rerate, opened up an AB American ale right after, just made me realize what f crap this is. Jeez. Worse then 2.7.

On tap at KSBF ’08. Clear amber body with an off-white head. Though it smelled slightly unpleasant it had a decent flavor. Very smooth and malty.

Pours a very good looking dark copper. Semi-large, fluffy off-white head with intermittent lacing. Very good looking beer. Smells a bit sweet, like candy, cinnamon, but the aroma overall is weak and very laid back. The second the beer hits my lips I can tell that the palate will please me. Smooth, creamy texture with a very nice, tingling carbonation. This brew doesn’t do anything too special, but it’s adequate in all areas and very enjoyable as a fall seasonal.

Bottle. Pours deep amber with an off white head. Caramel and toasty aroma with some earthy hops. The flavor has caramel, chestnut, walnut and toast. Better then I expected.
