Sample at the Mill Hill Saloon in Trenton, NJ: This beer is a clear pale amber color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit and caramel malt. Medium-bodied with sweet malt and caramel flavors along with some nuts and hops. The finish is moderately sweet at first with a mild hops aftertaste. Drinkable, although mediocre overall.

Bottle with a date of 081307. Pours a clear ruby red-brown with a bit of creamy head that fades quickly. Smells malty. Light mouth feel. Sweet and malted. I can’t detect any spices of any kind. Overall a smooth, drinkable brew.

Color is a nice shade of fall. Not much aroma. Flavor is very light for a harvest beer IMO. Some spice with malt sweetness with a hint of bittering hops. Very subtle brew.

12oz. Bottle: Faint malt aroma. Poured copper with a hint of amber in color with a medium, rocky, tan head that diminished quickly. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is very malty. Tastes like a liquid sourdough pretzel. Tastes of malt, nuts, salt, dough, and bread. Light to medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Salty, malty finish.

Bottle. Sweetish, vaguely malty aroma. Dark amber body with heavy carbonation and a rich, lacing, smoothly soapy beige head. Thinnish body, indeterminate malty flavor swimming around, faint toast malt and nuttiness in the periphery, with light bitterness and dryness closer to the center. Something of a thin amber mashed up with a brown; a little too rubbery and bland, but not something I’d refuse.

The Harvest pours a light amber color with a large, frothy white head. Fair lacing and a sparkling body. Aroma is of moderate strength malts with molasses notes. Initial taste is lightly acidic, kicking in with a light sweet finish with a short duration. Light body, watery texture, and soft carbonation make this a very drinkable beer. Reviewer’s notes: "A lot of malts. Slight maple - maybe" Reviewed on September 17th, 2006.
