Poured a nice dark brown amber tinted body with a medium sized tan head. Adequate amount of lace but I wouldn’t say it was a lot. The aroma is hard to detect. It’s malty and maybe a little woody as well. Not strong. The flavor is not as rich as the look, more malty than hoppy but both are there. The finish is slightly hoppy and dry.

Oct 11, 2008 copper body thinoff-white head. Fruity aroma with hints of sweetness.Flavor seemed to be slightly sour, with white grapefruit notes. Not pleasant, but not offesive. Smooth finish and really easy to drink.

Oct 9, 2008 I liked this. Copper color-clear with no head. Slight aroma of caramel and malts. Flavor of toasted malts with a caramel ending. Overall, enjoyable!

Oct 6, 2008 Bottle. Not enjoying this. Amber brown pour with quickly diminishing light white head. Nutty aroma flavor is a bit of malt and nutty. Boring and unenjoyable. 2.7
Rerate, opened up an AB American ale right after, just made me realize what f crap this is. Jeez. Worse then 2.7.

Oct 5, 2008 On tap at KSBF ’08. Clear amber body with an off-white head. Though it smelled slightly unpleasant it had a decent flavor. Very smooth and malty.
