Jul 26, 2008 Bottle. Pours a hazy dark yellow, with a fluffy white head. Aroma is banana, bit of spicy yeast. Taste is wheat at thfront, not quite as crisp and clean as it could be - spicy yeast and banana showing up at the very beginning as well. Banana isn’t dominant, but does taste a bit artificial. Finish is fairly clean, a bit spicy. Mouthfeel is fairly creamy, medium to a bit heavier than medium bodied, moderate carbonation.

Jul 13, 2008 Lt amber, cloudy, with a white head. A light aroma of yeast and spice. The taste had some banana and vanilla with hints of citrus but was not very complex. I thought this was an OK wheat beer.

Jun 26, 2008 Smells zesty, faintly of citrus and very light hefe/wheat scent. Taste is mild yet refreshing and pleasant. Not an amazing hefe, but certainly refreshing on a hot day

Jun 23, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a huge fluffy white head. Spicy aroma with clove and nutmeg, as well as a light fruity sweetness. Body is a bit watery. Flavor is much lighter than the aroma, pretty dissapointing actually, with general fruit and spice notes. Not bad, but it could be much better.

May 19, 2008 Had on tap at the brewery. Picked up an aroma of grains and citrus. Had a nice head that disapated quickly. Had a nice malt texture. I found this much better made than the White Beer they offer. It was more complex and balanced.

May 18, 2008 Bottle: Smells like bananas and taste like bananas. Very light with no strong aftertaste. Pours a yellowish color with a small white head.

May 16, 2008 (Bottle) This was fairly heavy and rich for a Hefeweizen, but overall, pretty good and indicative of the style. I liked it a fair amount. It was fresh and there was no objectionable sourness...so perhaps the other reviewers would benefit from getting a fresher batch. Not terribly complex, but still an above-average beer, especially among beers of this style to come from American brewers.

May 14, 2008 smells really weak and no estery aromas or clove smells....tastes kinda dry and gross finishes stale and gross and it was dated less than a month ago...don’t know if that was the experation date or production date....hopefully experation date....still it could use a lemon wedge though I should never think that for a german style hef...sorry brewandbbq...I thank you for this as an extra...but....it just did not hit the spot
though many other beers you sent were great!
