Commercial Description:
Here is our "Wheat Beer with Yeast." Beers brewed with a high proportion of wheat yield a crisp and refreshing flavor profile, while the addition of our special yeast adds a blend of complex citrus and spice flavors...forget the lemon wedge, this Hef' has plenty of flavor!

From a 12 fl. oz bottle with a date and lot code of 112607 686913. Pours a yellowish-orange with a good supply of off-white head that fizzles after a few minutes. The aroma is of wheat, yeast, some citrus, and overall very clean or untouched. A rather medium mouth feel. Mild flavor that is very easy to drin and finishes slightly dry. I enjoyed it.

Very pronounced banana aroma and flavor. All in all, though, quite light on flavor. Like a banana version of wonder bread.

I was very disappointed in this beer. It lacked the murkiness and the aroma and the flavor of a hefeweiss. It was only marginally better that the Long Trail Ale.

Light grainy aroma. Cloudy golden color with a small white head. Very light taste in the beginning with a citrus middle that fades in the finish. High carbonation.

Poured golden yellow. Strong lemon citrus and wheat aromas which follow through to the initial taste. Overall wheat flavours are somewhat masked but still a refreshing pint.

12 oz bottle. Hazy orange in color with a long lasting head and very bubbly carbonation. Some honey, toffee, spice, light floral hops, yeast and a touch of metal in the aroma. Taste is very similar to the aroma with light citrus, some tangy wheat, some light spice and earthy/floral hops. Light to medium bodied, easy drinking. Finishes with a light hop bitterness and is a bit metallic. Not too bad, but I wonder what yeast they used on this- no banana/bubblegum and clove is pretty subdued.

Bottle. Poured a clear golden body with thin head. Aroma is soft spices, light hops. Flavor is crisp hops, light spices and an earthy mouthfeel. I was really impressed with this one as I expected it to have one spice or another dominating the beer but this one was very smooth and mellow. Very drinkable. Long Trail can surprise me sometimes.

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. Fluffy white head recedes to skim surface. Banana and clove from front to back -- tastes like banana bread in a glass -- a little too much like banana bread in a glass.
