Commercial Description:
Here is our "Wheat Beer with Yeast." Beers brewed with a high proportion of wheat yield a crisp and refreshing flavor profile, while the addition of our special yeast adds a blend of complex citrus and spice flavors...forget the lemon wedge, this Hef' has plenty of flavor!

12oz bottle-pours a white head and gold color. Aroma is clove, honey, citrus, light malt, as this warms, some banana comes through. Taste is clove, honey, citrus, light malt/wheat, faint light/spicy hops. Light/medium body. Mild carbonation.

Bottle. Aroma of grain and lemon-citrus and wheat with yeast overtone. Nicely fruity, reminds of a sparkling cider mixed with bubblegum. Surprisingly attractive nose! Effervescent golden body with a rocky lacing head. Taste is bubblegum and yeasty wheat, refreshing and during out into a rounded long-lasting bread-and-pretzel aftertaste. Full-bodied and crisp. High marks for a phenomenal American Hefeweizen!

12 oz bottle. Light Golden-Brown color. Mild aroma of banana... Taste is the same, exactly what I expected from an American-brewed wheat. Pretty crisp. Refreshing. Decent.

this was a poor example of a hefe beer. To light in color, to weak in flavor, almost no palate and no aroma. This was a VERY poor showing for a decent brewery.

Pours cloudy golden-bright copper...off-white head...initial whiff of bananas, like now and laters-yummy....some underlying malt, fresh and clean, fresh yeast as well...yeasty clove flavor, but not very intense and the body is thin and watery...a good hefe, from my experience, the Germans do it better, complexity-wise....lemony finish, tasty, ok in my book

12oz. Bottle: Cloudy light orange color, small white head. Aroma reminds me of a Banana Runt, now I’m ruined...I can’t get that thought out of my head. D’OH! Banana/light clove taste, it’s like a banana party up in here!

Cloudy yellow pour with a thin white head. The aroma is of citrus, wheat and yeast. The taste is very zesty with lemon, orange, wheat and a hint of bubblegum in the background. Not bad.

(12oz bottle, stamped 06/26/07) Hazy light apple cider body topped by medium off-white head that mostly diminishes. Aroma is medium sweet, banana, clove, light lemon/lime. Taste is medium sweet, clove, some seltzer water, lime. Watery light body.
