Commercial Description:
Here is our "Wheat Beer with Yeast." Beers brewed with a high proportion of wheat yield a crisp and refreshing flavor profile, while the addition of our special yeast adds a blend of complex citrus and spice flavors...forget the lemon wedge, this Hef' has plenty of flavor!

On tap at Grady Davids. Pours a lightly hazy golden orange with smaller bubbly/creamy white head. Aroma of ripe banana, clove and cherrios. Flavor of bananas with cereal (Cheerios) and light bitterness. Lots of banana esters in this Hefe.

12oz bottle. Sharp banana/spice aroma. Taste is the same with some bubble gum. Virtually no head. Pours on the lighter side, with slight debris. Seems too sharp for a hefe.

New product, not the same overwhelming malt they usually use. Much lighter but nicely done with far more hops compared to their other styles. Not as much spice as a traditional Hefeweizen but plenty of tangy hops. Good. But not as great as a real Bavarian brewed hefe.

Cloudy yellow body with white head. Aroma of banana is present right away, it is almost candy like. Mute flavour and quite watery. Very little wheat or spice present.

POurs deep yellow. It has the typical notes of banana and corriander leaning more towards spice. The spice then shows high on the palate where you can get more out of the wheat.

Draught: Very sweet aroma. Smells of lots of banana, coriander, yeast, and a slight funk. Poured golden in color with a large, dense white head that lasted throughout. Excellent lacing. Cloudy. Perhaps some tiny particles in there. Flavor is medium sweet. Tastes heavily of banana, as well as bubble gum, and a little corn. Light body. Thin, creamy texture. Soft carbonation. Sewwt banana and corn finish. Overall, thin, boring, and filled with too much banana.
