a very tastey dark brown malty mess. Looks great, the honey tasts is subtle yet potent at the same time. Highly recommended for a winter night.

11.17.05 12 oz bottle. Not as impressed by this as I was with the other Long Trail beers. I really thought it was going to be something altogether different. This says its a scottish ale which makes sense for what I tasted. Not bad, just threw me offguard. Michael Keaton WAS Batman.

Pours copper with a tanish head. Smells of honey, grape seed, and toffee. Taste is of alcohol and some nice malt. Better than most of their brews.

I received this from my good frend JB. This was a decent Scottish ale. Plenty of malt and the flavorings were good.

Somewhat sweet, dark brown winter brew. Very rich, with carmel finish, slightly carbed in the bottle. Not bad, but nothing to cheer about!

Copper colored with aroma of caramel malt, spoice, some hops. Tastes malty, with some finishing hops, toffee, and cinnamon. Not real complex.

Cinammon in aroma. Copper color with quick-dissipating head. Malty palate, some hops in palate. Finish is watery. Average.
