bottle. Pours a a red orange color with a thin white head. Rich malty smells with definate hops in the aftertaste. The bitter finish gives the beer its character. Sweet grassy flavor. Overall good beer. I’d like to see a better flavor in the finish.

On tap @ MacGregors in Henrietta. I was expecting a winter warmer style beer, but instead I was treated to a nice malty scotch ale. The description says warming character but I didn’t experience that. The flavor was nicely malty and sweet with a very smooth full palate. Easy to drink and enjoyable.

Poured a dark amber color with a medium sized, creamy, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet malts, rather dull. Taste was sweet caramel maltiness, very light hops. The name suggests a doppelbock... tis not.

Fruity nose, decent amount of sweetness from the honey and brown sugar. Amber in color, off white head. Malty. Medium rounded out body. Decent but fairly one dimensional.

Not as good as I expected. Pours a clear, copper/amber color with a thin short lasting off-white head. Decent caramel, toasty malts, skunky aroma. Very thin mouthfeel. Stale malty flavor. Decent roasted taste with some sweet caramel flavor. Not bad. Didn’t really do much for me.
