Poured into a tasting cup from the tap. The color is a dark amber / red with a dark white head. The smell is a bit bitter at first with a hint of malts and wheat. It is also a little sweet as well, has a slight caramel feel. The taste has a slight hoppy taste to it before giving way to a chocolate and caramel feel. A great beer to have on a cold day. A tad bit heavy but not too heavy and would go good with a nice steak.

bottle procured by the wife during her ramblings. Wet cardboard nose with sudsy kind of perkolating head. An off brown/sienna in the glass. Cndi sugar in the rings of mouthfeel (aka brown sugar and honey??) Perhaps. Finish went sideways and got quite metallic. Meh.

bottle poured a brown in color with a thin off white head. aroma has brown malt, sweetness, and some faint hops. mouth feel is a little light with just enough carbonation to carry it. flavor has malt, light bitterness, some earth, and faint hops. super easy to drink, session level.

Draft and bottles. Multiple tastings. (previous tastings from memory) Tasted this as part of a mix pack. I liked it but expected more from this style. Actually seemed kind of thin for what it was.

I felt like this had a very hint coffee tone to it. Tastes good out of the keg.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy copper color with a small white receding head. Aroma was sweet malt and bread. Thin palate, not much body. Flavor was mild sweet malts with a bitter hop finish. A good "average" beer.

Bottle: Poured a dark reddish color with a nice head. The aroma was sweet malts and a touch of spice. The flavor was lite spiced hops and a nice bitter finish. Overall, not bad.

pours a hazy light ruby color with a medium foamy white head. aroma is yeasty with light cinnamon and sweet caramel maltiness. flavor is very muddled with stale cinnamon, light caramel or toffee, orange, and aggressive spicy hops with a hint of a metallic flavor. moutfeel is thin and leaves an offensive lingering spicy aftertaste. last time i drink this one!
