Commercial Description:
British brewers of colonial times utilized the preservative qualities of hops and alcohol to assure that their "pale ale" survived the long trip to colonial India. We believe this to be one of the HOPPIEST brews in the States. ENJOY!

Bottle. Pours a hazy amber-gold with an average size lasting off-white head. Very mild light hop aroma -- too simple and pretty ’blah’. Flavour of faint hops and light caramel malt is pretty dull as well -- barely any hops or flavour here. Light to medium bodied. A disappointing, boring IPA, I wouldn’t get it again.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazy amberish color. Nice aroma of hops, with slight citrus. However, this beer just didn’t have quite the hop kick I was hoping for. I’d drink it again, but I wouldn’t buy it again. Very middle of the road.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy orangey golden color with a small white head. Aroma was nice with pine and citrus hop notes. Flavor was apricot and hop bitterness minus the actual hop flavor. Didn’t seem like a real IPA.

Pretty weak mouthfeel. Light hoppiness. Tastes cirtusy and pleasant but nothing too special.

One bottle in trade with JB. Poured a small white head. Slight hops aroma. Hops flavoring not overpowering like some other IPA’s.(good for a non-hops fan like me) OK for an IPA.

Pours a cloudy golden orange color with a medium white head. Aroma is slightly piney with floral hints and a bit of shampoo. Taste is faint piney hops with floral and perfume overtones. Not bad for an IPA.
