Commercial Description:
British brewers of colonial times utilized the preservative qualities of hops and alcohol to assure that their "pale ale" survived the long trip to colonial India. We believe this to be one of the HOPPIEST brews in the States. ENJOY!

Poured a hazy golden color with an off-white head. Moderately hoppy aroma that is both citrusy and floral. Some notes of candy and caramel malt. The flavor was mostly caramel with hops showing up form the middle to the finish. Not much bitterness on the finish. Thin body.

Pours a clear golden with a thin wispy white head. Fresh green orange citrus and piney hoppy aroma. Body starts with a light pale malty sweetness thinning some toward a bitter lightly tart finish. An ok IPA but could use some more flavor hops.

Not your high end IPA, but an adequate brew...definetely drinkable. A little too much citrus effect in this one.

Pours a mediu, amber with a foamy head. Aroma is fruity and flowery. Flavor is very hoppy, but lacking in real flavor. While I’m not a huge fan of IPA’s in general, I have had much better than this.

Very average IPA. Has the aroma, flavor, and stength of any IPA but lacks and distinguishing characteristics

Bottle from lou18 Thanks!

Pours a rich orange with a peculiar aroma of banana and gum. Slight tinge of grapefruit as it warms. Suitable head with clinging lace. Taste is a mild flood of hops, citrus, and sour. Nice, refreshing. Palate is nice. If not for the relatively high ABV, this would make a great session beer. I like this one. Really, really good. Honest, straigthforward, and tasty. Must have more.

Hummm.....poured out a thin dark yellow color with a somewhat hoppy aroma. Aroma was stronger than the taste, just a bland bitterness with not much direction, decently balanced, but nothing to really write home about, watery and pretty much a poor representation of the style.
