Feb 20, 2006 Poured the color of apple juice with almost no head. Aroma was "college keg beer". Corn syrup, slightly sweet, no real taste, no hops. Some slight malt. This should not be considered an IPA it brings shame to the style. Smooth and watery.

Feb 12, 2006 Eh, not a great IPA. Not nearly heavy enough on the hops. Would be more appropriate as a pale ale, in which case I would say this is quite good. Check out the new Perfect Clones album THIS summer!

Feb 6, 2006 (Draught) Sampled at the Central New York Brewfest on February 4, 2006. Large frothy white head with a light orange body. Nose of mild hops and oranges. The flavour has a tad grapefruit taste that fades into a malted bitter end. Which is how I rated this beer.

Feb 3, 2006 12oz bottle from Lou18. Pours a dull orange color with a fluffy white head. Nose is fresh, grassy and hoppy. Taste starts out fluffy, finishes very dry and sticky. Flavors of hops, freshness, mostly just hops though. Not too much complexity here. Fairly bland and one dimentional.

Feb 2, 2006 12oz bottle via trade with Lou18 - Thanks Lou! - Pours cloudy golden with a short white head. Aroma is light citrus hops a little caramel malt, and a touch of something funky. Flavor is citrus grapefruit, some lemon, just a bit of grain. Palate seemed unbalanced and kind of harsh. Not a real good IPA.

Feb 1, 2006 This aint no IPA! Weak flavor...not very bitter. Hefe Weizen it is! As a unfiltered beer I would rate it pretty well. Now where did I put the lemon?

Jan 23, 2006 Bouteille de 12 oz achetée au Cabot Annex Store (Waterbury Center, VT). Arôme: Odeur d’agrumes et d’houblons. Apparence: Couleur blonde orangée légèrement voilée avec une faible densité de bulle. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une large dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût d’houblons légèrement fruité. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est mince avec une texture minérale. L’effervescence en bouche est moyenne. Légère amertume en arrière goût. (Rating #421)

Jan 3, 2006 Poured a dark golden color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of honey, grassy, some skunk, and light caramel malt. Flavor is rather weak, but on par for the other Long Trail offerings I have had. Malty, citrusy, some skunked herb, grass, lemon, and a lightly bitter finish.
