Commercial Description:
British brewers of colonial times utilized the preservative qualities of hops and alcohol to assure that their "pale ale" survived the long trip to colonial India. We believe this to be one of the HOPPIEST brews in the States. ENJOY!

Nicely made IPA, hopped a little more than average, but nothing overwhelming. Part of the Long Trail winter pack.

Nice golden color with white head. Some hops in the aroma, lemon, malt and hops in the body with a slight hoppy finish. Not as strong as a typical IPA but an enjoyable ale.

"One of the Hoppiest brews in the States"...not quite. This pours a translucent golden with a slight orange tint. Average foamy white head. Aroma is weak, grassy hops and some malts. Flavor is somewhat smooth, yet weak for an IPA. Nothing too special, would go ok with some food.

Bottle. Liquid gold with little head. Weak hop aroma. Flavour has a little more hops than the aroma with a few more in the finish. Drinkable and OK for accompanying meals but more English than American

Pours copper with a white head. Smells of citrus and grass. Taste is hoppy and watery but otherwise lacking.

Clear golden color. Weak aroma consisting of grassy hops and a touch of sweet malt. Thin body with moderate sweet malt and grassy hop flavors. Not what I consider a quality IPA.

This is a pretty bad IPA. I don’t know why, but some IPA’s, this one in particular, have a soap flavor that I would imagine is the hops. It’s not very good.

Weak hoppy notes in the aroma, some sweet maltyness. Golden colored body with a small white head. Flavor is quite sweet, with some weak hoppyness.
