Commercial Description:
British brewers of colonial times utilized the preservative qualities of hops and alcohol to assure that their "pale ale" survived the long trip to colonial India. We believe this to be one of the HOPPIEST brews in the States. ENJOY!

bonus bottle thanks to OldGrowth. a grassy aroma with a hint of citrus. nice pour, clear orange-amber with a decent white head that settles to a ring of lace. a very mild malt - hop balance. nothing here to jump out and grab your attention, but very drinkable & pleasant.

Pours deep golden with a tiny head. Weak aroma. Flavor was weak too. Low hops, low malt. This IPA is a waste of time.

Poured a light to medium golden color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of flowers and light grass. Tastes of flowers and light caramel. Aromas and tastes on the weaker side. Thinner body.

Boy, there’s nothing like a good pale ale or IPA after a day at the shore. This is a pretty good IPA, good hoppy flavor, impressive feel and finish. Decent brew, but def. not one of the hoppiest in the states.

citrus-hops smell. pours a deep yellow color. muddled and undistinctive flavor. watery palate with a nice kick of hop bitters in the aftertaste. another mediocre+ score for Long Trail.

Bottle: A light gold thin-bodied brew with minimal carbonation and a soapy white head that shrunk fast and left no lacing. Nose: light floral herbs and Earl Grey tea. Flavor is light on both hops and malt. Nothing special here.

Bright honey golden clear color, with almost no head, herbal, floral hops nose follows through on a medium-bodied palate with pale malt, hint of maltiness, grassy, herbal, hoppy accent, piney, leading to a nicely balancing pleasant hop bitterness finish.

Robe blonde claire. Houblon amertume, malt caramel, mais léger. Bien, mais manque de finesse.
